Its name derives from the word “dadanak”, meaning “to flow” (you often hear it in contemporary Tagalog like “dadanak ang dugo” [blood will flow]), which in turn rooted from the word “danak” (flow), describing to the flowing water at the falls.
It is fourteen meters tall and has a deep catch basin, but rentable lifesavers are available. There are several points where you can do cliff jumping, provided you are under supervision by a lifeguard for your safety.
